Studio Plum conducts lessons in several locations: at the home studio in Avondale Estates and on the road at students' houses. Michelle offers 30-, 45-, and 60-minute lessons, and her schedule is flexible. Michelle also is delighted to offer Dalcroze eurhythmics classes and AP Music Theory coaching.
Rates vary depending on location and travel. Lessons conducted at the studio are billed at $60.00 for hour-long lesson. A 45-minute lesson is $48.00, and a 30-minute lesson is $35.00. There is a $5 surcharge for lessons given in a student's home. New students are eligible for a free diagnostic lesson. Dalcroze class rates will depend on location, time taught, and number of students per class.
Studio Plum's calendar year is divided into three semesters: spring, summer, and fall. The spring and fall semesters mirror the schedules of nearby public schools. The summer semester is much more flexible to account for vacation.

AP Music TheoryPrivate one-on-one or group tutoring sessions are highly recommended in preparation for the AP Music Theory exam, which is one of the more difficult AP exams. All subjects will be covered, but there will be an emphasis on voice leading, harmonic analysis, dictation, and ear training.
